The establishment of Help Fund Peace was created for the purpose to continue fulfilling the aid, support, caring, and teaching of the Messiah Priesthood for the poor which shall never cease out of the land: therefore we were commanded, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land. Let all your things be done with charity.
Every purpose is established by counsel: without counsel purposes are disappointed. The counsel of Yahweh, which is the counsel of peace, stands forever. It is by the continuance of the counsel of peace, help fund peace was establish.
Rob not the poor, because he [is] poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate: He that gives unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hide his eyes shall have many a curse.
We have considered our ways. Why? Our Heavenly Father’s family is desolate, and we concerns ourselves only with our families. We have sown much, and bring in little; we eat, but have not enough; we drink, but are not filled with drink; we clothe ourselves, but there is none warm; and they that earns wages earns wages [to put it] into a bag with holes.
We looked for much, and, lo, [it came] to little; and when we brought [it] home, our Father in Heaven did blow upon it.
Consider the work of Help Fund Peace with your freewill offering, and see if the Father of all flesh will not open unto you the windows of heaven, and pour out unto you a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
